# Updating your user account

You can change the language/departmentthat eBooking suggests to you by default.You can change your username and password whetheryou’re logging in to eBooking using a username and password or alibrary card.

# Viewing and updating your user account

Here’s how to access your user account:

  1. Click ‘My account’in the top right corner.

  2. Click ‘Edit my account’.

  3. On the next page you can change your username, language and default department. You can also add your email address if you want.

  4. Click the ‘Update’button to save your changes.

# Changing your password

It’s good practice to change your password from time to time, especially when youlog in for thefirst time.This way you can make sure that only you know your eBooking password.Password should be unique and not used in other services.Please not that if you’re using your library card PIN in eBooking, you do notneed tochange your password.Here’s how to change your eBooking password:

  1. Click ‘My account’ in the top right corner.

  2. Click ‘Change password’.

  3. Enter your old password in the ‘Oldpassword’field.

  4. Enter your new password in the ‘New password’ field. Makeyour passwordat least 8 characters long and use both numbers and letters.

  5. Repeat your new password in the ‘Password confirmation’ field.

  6. Click the ‘Update’button to save your changes.

Your password is now changed. You will have to use your new password the next time you are booking or using public computers at your library.

# Browsing your printing history

If eBooking print monitoring is used at your library, your printing history will appear in eBooking and you can view it any time and see if you have any unpaid prints. Click the ‘Printing’ link atthetop of the eBooking screen to view your printing history.

If you have unpaid print jobs an exclamation mark will be shown next to them. If you have already paid for a print job an OK mark will appear next to those jobs. Currently, print jobs canonly be paid for by visiting your libraryin person.
